Additional information

This piece is one entry in a fourteen-part series issued by Niue commemorating Notre-Dame de Paris. The series was released the same year Paris had begun a major stone-cleaning and restoration campaign on the cathedral's exterior — a project that took on a different meaning entirely after the April 2019 fire destroyed the spire and much of the roof structure.
