Reverse description The central field features two heraldic shields displayed side by side: to the left, the Royal Arms of Queen Elizabeth II quartered with the lions of England, the lion of Scotland, and the Irish harp; to the right, the personal arms of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Above the shields, a pair of wedding bells tied with a ribbon bow serves as the principal commemorative motif. Below the shields, a decorative spray of New Zealand flora including fern fronds and blossoms fills the lower field. The arc legend DIAMOND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY runs along the upper periphery, and the denomination TEN DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower border, with the designer's initials P.O'S appearing in the lower central field.
