Reverse description A finely detailed high-relief rendering of a Numbat (Myrmecobius fasciatus), an endangered Australian marsupial, depicted in profile facing left and perched atop a naturalistic rocky outcrop. The animal's distinctive banded fur and bushy tail are rendered with exceptional sculptural precision against a deeply mirrored proof field. The species name NUMBAT is inscribed in capital letters along the upper border, while the denomination 10 DOLLARS is displayed in two lines to the lower left of the design. The engraver's mint mark appears at the base of the composition.
