Reverse description Printed entirely in green on white paper, the reverse is dominated by a large interlocking numeral «10» and «X» guilloche vignette centered within a dense lathe-work underprint of repeated «TEN DOLLARS» legends; «UNITED STATES OF AMERICA» is inscribed across the center of the numeral device, with «TEN DOLLARS» in bold serif lettering at both the top and bottom borders, and star ornaments at each corner.
