| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia prominently at centre, depicting a sailing ship at sea before a rising sun and a palm tree, with a dove in flight above, all within a heraldic shield supported by laurel and pepper branches. A scroll above the shield bears the national motto legend THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE, while a further scroll below carries the inscription REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA. The date 1993 is divided across the lower field flanking the shield, and the denomination legend ONE OUNCE 10 DOLLARS FINE SILVER arcs along the lower periphery.
