Issued under Fiji's external coin program — which licenses the country's sovereign authority to private minting houses, primarily the Perth Mint and the Austrian Mint — this piece belongs to a class of numismatic product that has nothing to do with Fijian monetary history and everything to do with the collector novelty market.
