| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King Charles III in right-facing profile occupies the central field of this rectangular gold bar-format coin. The legend SOLOMON ISLANDS is inscribed in two lines across the upper portion of the obverse in widely spaced capital letters. Below the portrait, the name CHARLES III appears in large capital letters, separated from the lower inscriptions by a horizontal rule.
