| Obverse description | Right-facing uncrowned effigy of King Charles III, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features, hair, and collar. The portrait, attributed to engraver Dominique Thiébaut and bearing the initials DT in the lower field, occupies the central portion of the coin.
