Reverse description The reverse features a finely detailed high-relief depiction of a jabiru stork (Jabiru mycteria), the national bird of Belize, standing in the central field and facing left with its characteristic long bill prominent. The circumferential legend CENTRAL BANK OF BELIZE 10TH ANNIVERSARY arcs around the upper portion of the field, while the date range 1982 - 1992 is inscribed along the lower arc, commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Central Bank. The design is framed by an inner beaded border, with a fine dentilated outer rim, all struck to proof standard with mirror-like fields.
