Obverse description The obverse features the national coat of arms of Liberia centrally placed in the field, depicting a sailing ship, a dove, a palm tree, a plough, and a spade above a rising sun, all within a shield surmounted by a ribbon bearing the motto 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE'. The legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '10 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim. The date '2000' is divided either side of the coat of arms in the lower field. The design is rendered in a clean, relief style typical of modern commemorative issues.
