Obverse description The full Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a cross with five pineapples, supported on the dexter side by a male Taino figure and on the sinister side by a female Taino figure, each in traditional dress. A crocodile is depicted as the crest above the shield, and a scroll below bears the national motto. The legend JAMAICA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination TEN DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery. The mintmark FM, denoting the Franklin Mint, appears in the lower field.
