| Reverse description | A cartographic vignette of the Eastern Caribbean States island chain occupies the central field, flanked by two maritime and coastal scenes: an illustration of the vessel Warspite associated with Anguilla at upper right, and a view of Admiralty Bay in St. Vincent and the Grenadines rendered along the lower portion. The reverse employs a multicoloured guilloche background throughout. |

The Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority began transitioning its dollar series to polymer substrate in 2019, with De La Rue supplying the converted designs. The ECCB serves eight territories simultaneously — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — which makes uniform currency management across jurisdictions without individual central banks a distinctive arrangement globally.
The transparent window integrated into the polymer substrate functions as both security feature and structural element, something paper construction simply cannot replicate.
