Reverse description Printed entirely in orange-red on a lathe-work guilloche background. The bank name BANK OF HAMILTON is centred in bold serif lettering, with DOMINION OF CANADA arching above, and the numeral 10 appearing in each corner cartouche. The repeated legend TEN DOLLARS is set in two horizontal bands across the lower portion, flanked by ornate scroll and lathework panels running the full width of the note.
