| Obverse description | Central shield-shaped coat of arms set within a rope border and surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial, all struck in the brass inner centre. The quartered shield displays seabirds in flight and a horizontal bar, with the legend 'STELLA REDONDA' inscribed around the rope border. The split date '20 09' appears in the field to either side of the crown, and the inscription 'REDONDA' is displayed in bold lettering along the lower portion of the nickel-plated steel outer ring, separated by a beaded inner border. |
