| Obverse description | The obverse features the quartered coat of arms of Andorra at center, displaying the episcopal mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell in the first quarter, the red and yellow vertical stripes of the Count of Foix in the second, the vertical stripes of Catalonia in the third, and two bulls passant representing the Viscount of Béarn in the fourth. The shield is set within an ornate baroque cartouche, with the motto VIRTUS UNITA FORTIOR inscribed on a scroll beneath.
