Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of Andorra is depicted at center, featuring a quartered shield with the traditional emblems including the mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell and the bars of Catalonia, surmounted by a mural crown. The denomination '10 D.' flanks the shield on either side in the lower field. A circular legend in Catalan surrounds the design along the periphery, with the date 1999 appearing in the lower exergue between two raised dots.
