| Obverse description | The Tunisian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing scales of justice and a lion rampant, surmounted by a crescent and five-pointed star. An Arabic legend arcs around the upper periphery identifying the issuing state, while the denomination '10 دنانير' (10 Dinars) is prominently inscribed along the lower portion of the field. Decorative arabesques and ornamental devices frame both sides of the design within the border. |

| Additional information |
The Banque Centrale de Tunisie was established in 1958, the year after independence, replacing the franc-zone institutions that had managed Tunisian monetary affairs under French authority. Its 50th anniversary in 2008 prompted a regional commemorative program, with individual issues honoring branch offices — Jendouba among them — a northwestern governorate whose agricultural economy, centered on the Majarda River valley, made it historically significant to the central bank's rural credit operations.
