Obverse description The obverse is printed in shades of red and crimson on a light blue and multicolour guilloche underprint. A central vignette presents the Presidential Palace in Khartoum rendered in fine intaglio engraving, flanked to the right by a decorative Islamic geometric panel and a lotus flower ornament. The Bank of Sudan title appears in Arabic at upper centre (بنك السودان), with the denomination عشرة دينارات in large script below, accompanied by the promise-to-pay legend and dual serial numbers in black at left and right.

Reverse description The reverse carries a vignette of the Al-Nilin Mosque (مسجد النيلين) in Omdurman, rendered in intaglio on a multicolour guilloche ground. The mosque's distinctive arched facade and minaret are clearly delineated, set against a decorative arabesque border. The Bank of Sudan's English-language promise-to-pay legend and denomination inscription run across the upper portion of the design.
