| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the Tunisian national coat of arms, a shield divided into two quarters depicting a balance of justice at left and a rampant lion at right, surmounted by a lateen-rigged sailing vessel above wavy lines symbolizing the sea, and flanked by crossed national flags. Above the shield, the crescent-and-star emblem of Tunisia. The Arabic legend الجمهورية التونسية (The Tunisian Republic) curves along the upper periphery, flanked by ornamental arabesque scroll motifs at either side. The denomination 10 دنانير (10 Dinars) appears in large numerals and Arabic script at the base of the coin. |
