Woman at right with a laurel wreath on the head is an allegory for Serbia, detail from the monument to Kosovo heroes in Kruševac (created by the sculptor Đorđe Jovanović). On the monument the woman is seated with an outstretched hand towards the south, calling for the liberation of its enslaved brothers, promising a crown of glory to the overreachers. Model of inspiration for the sculptor was Milica Stojadinović (1828-1878), poet, journalist and the first female war reporter of Serbia.
