Obverse description The German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler), rendered in a stylized thin-line design, is displayed centrally in the field with wings spread and talons extended. The mint mark 'F' and the date '1995' appear in two lines to the upper right of the eagle. The circular legend 'BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND' runs along the periphery, divided left and right by the eagle's wings. The denomination '10 DEUTSCHE MARK' is inscribed in three lines at the base of the design below the eagle.
