Reverse description A crowned Burgundian cross occupies the central field, with a fire-striking steel (fusil) at its center, referencing the insignia of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece is suspended from the base of the cross, with decorative sparks or flints radiating into the surrounding field. The reverse legend in Latin runs continuously around the periphery of the coin.
