| Obverse description | Right-facing laureate bust of Emperor Francis Joseph I, depicted with a full beard and wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the nape, with truncation visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style characteristic of late 19th-century Austrian coinage. A continuous beaded border frames the design. The Latin legend encircles the bust, reading FRANC·IOS·I·D·G·IMP·AVSTR·REX·BOH·GAL·ILL·ETC·ET·AP·REX·HVNG, abbreviated titles denoting his imperial and royal sovereignty. A small star punctuates the legend at the base. |

| Reverse description | Central device featuring the Austrian imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head facing outward and surmounted by a single imperial crown, above which the larger Crown of the Habsburg Empire appears at the apex. The eagle's breast bears the elaborate quartered shield of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. Below the eagle, decorative baroque scrollwork flanks the denomination numeral 10 and the abbreviation COR., while the Roman numeral date MDCCCXCII arcs across the upper field alongside the legend X CORONAE. The date 1892 in Arabic numerals appears in the exergue below the eagle. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
