Obverse description Red intaglio print over a multicolor guilloche underprint, with a central vignette portrait of Miguel de Larreynaga. The note carries the full title and legal authorization text of the Banco Central de Nicaragua, including references to the Executive Decree No. 35-AL of 25 May 1968. Signature lines for the President of the Republic, the President of the Bank, and the General Manager appear in the lower portion of the design.
