Obverse description Central field features a coiled imperial dragon rendered in high relief, depicted in dynamic three-quarter view with scaled body, clawed feet, and an elaborately detailed mane, facing right. The dragon is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, around which Chinese characters and Hangul script are arranged: the legend 大韓 (Great Korea) appears to the left and right flanking the dragon, with the reign-year inscription 隆熙二年 (2nd year of Yung Hee) at the top and the Hangul denomination 십젼 (ten jeon) to the lower left. The Latin denomination legend 10 CHON is inscribed along the lower rim between the beaded circle and the milled edge, completing a multilingual design characteristic of the late Korean Empire coinage.
Obverse script Chinese (traditional, regular script), Hangul, Latin
