Obverse description Central field dominated by a finely detailed Korean imperial dragon rendered in high relief, coiling dynamically and clutching a flaming jewel, set within an inner beaded circle. The date legend in Chinese characters reading 光武十年 (10th year of Gwang Mu) arcs across the upper portion of the field outside the beaded border, flanked by bullet stops, with the issuer legend 大韓 (Great Korea) at the sides. The Hangul denomination 십젼 and Latin denomination 10 CHON appear in the lower exergual area outside the inner beaded circle, all contained within a toothed outer border.
