Obverse description Blank uniface obverse die trial, the entire field left unworked and devoid of any design, legend, or device. The plain, unstruck surface displays the characteristic golden-brown tone of aluminium bronze, consistent with the nature of a reverse trial piece intended solely to test the executed reverse die. A beaded border is absent on this side, confirming the experimental and one-sided character of this pattern.
