Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of the young Queen Wilhelmina facing left, her long hair flowing loosely over her shoulder and adorned with a delicate pearl necklace at the throat. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine engraved detail, conveying a youthful yet regal character consistent with Wilhelmina's age at the time of the pattern's production. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN, with a small ornamental star at the base of the design. The inner border is formed by a continuous ring of beads.
