Reverse description A group of arum lilies (Zantedeschia aethiopica), native to South Africa, is depicted in naturalistic relief, with prominently curved spathes and large leaves filling the lower left portion of the field. The denomination '10' is shown in large bold numerals to the right, with the currency abbreviation 'C' below. The engraver's initials 'RCM' appear in the lower field near the base of the floral motif. The overall composition is characteristic of the mid-1990s South African decimal coinage series.
