Additional information

Australia's 10-cent piece has carried Stuart Devlin's lyrebird reverse since decimal introduction in 1966, making it one of the longer-unaltered reverse designs in the Commonwealth. The obverse specified here — Machin's second portrait of Elizabeth II — was current from 1966 until 1985, when Raphael Maklouf's third portrait took over. Striking coins dated 2024 with that effigy is almost certainly a commemorative or collector restrike program, not a circulation issue.
