Reverse description Central design features a stylised coconut palm tree flanked by the large numerals '10' with the word 'CENTS' below, all set within the field. The date '1941' appears in the lower exergue, framed by two raised dots. The legend 'CEYLON' arches across the top within a decorative scroll cartouche, while the denomination in Tamil script (சதம்) appears to the left and Sinhala script (දහයයි) to the right, arranged along the inner border. The whole is encircled by a beaded rim.
