Obverse lettering ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA
(Translation: Elizabeth II Queen by the grace of God)
Reverse description A finely detailed three-quarter view of the original Desjardins movement headquarters building in Lévis, Quebec, depicted in a realistic architectural style with prominent Victorian-era gabled rooflines, a conical turret, and a covered entrance porch. The centenary dates 1900 and 2000 appear to the right of the building in the field, commemorating one hundred years of the Mouvement Desjardins cooperative financial institution. The engraver's initials JGL appear below the dates. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, and the denomination 10 CENTS is inscribed along the lower periphery, all within a beaded border.
