| Reverse description | The reverse features Stuart Devlin's iconic design of a superb lyrebird (Menura novaehollandiae), its magnificent lyre-shaped tail plumage and filamentary feathers radiating dynamically across the field. The bold numeral 10 is prominently positioned to the left of centre, overlaying the intricate feather detailing. The lyrebird's head and elaborate tail feathers extend toward the upper and right portions of the design, filling the field with exceptional naturalistic detail. The engraver's initials SD appear incused in the lower centre of the field. No legend is present on the reverse, allowing the artistry of the design to dominate. |
