| Obverse description | The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, rendered after the Ian Rank-Broadley design, with the Queen shown with a tiara and draped neckline. The legend 'ELIZABETH II ~ TOKELAU 2012' arcs around the upper field, flanking the effigy. The border is decorated with an intricate geometric pattern of traditional Tokelauan woven design (titi), which encircles the entire obverse.
