Obverse description Second portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, rendered in low relief after the model by Arnold Machin. The Queen is depicted with a girlish coiffure adorned with a tiara, her neck and shoulders bare. The circular legend 'QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND' runs along the periphery, with the inscription beginning at the lower left and arcing around the upper field.
