| Obverse description | Central vignette shows the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanking, rendered in green letterpress with a broad staircase leading to the memorial hall set against a plain sky. Chinese characters 壹角 (one jiao) appear in ornamental cartouches at left and right, with the bank name 中央储备银行 across the upper portion. Two red chop marks appear in the lower centre, and small numerals 5 are printed in the upper corners. |
