| Obverse description | Central field depicts a dynamic battle scene commemorating the Battle of Jersey, showing a group of soldiers advancing with muskets and a field cannon, rallying beneath two large unfurled flags. The composition references the famous 1781 engagement and is rendered in high relief with fine detail. Six small heraldic animal motifs are distributed around the inner border at regular intervals.
