Additional information

Sant Vicenç d'Enclar is a pre-Romanesque church ruin perched above Andorra la Vella, its origins traceable to Carolingian-era ecclesiastical administration of the valleys — the same political arrangement that produced the co-principality structure Andorra still operates under today. These cèntims issues of the mid-2000s were part of Andorra's first-ever general circulation coinage series, introduced because the country, despite using the euro informally, lacked any treaty-based right to mint until its 2011 monetary agreement with the EU was finalized.
