Obverse description The quartered coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, flanked by ornate baroque scrollwork cartouche. The shield displays the four traditional quarters: the mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell, the vertical pales of the Count of Foix, the horizontal stripes of Catalonia, and the walking bull of Béarn. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield bears the Latin motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR. The circular legend PRINCIPAT D'ANDORRA arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2003 placed in the lower field below the shield.

Reverse description A replica of the celebrated 12th-century Romanesque carving of Our Lady of Meritxell (Mare de Déu de Meritxell), the patron saint of Andorra, depicted in a frontal hieratic pose characteristic of Romanesque Marian iconography. The Virgin is shown enthroned and crowned, holding the Christ Child on her left arm in the traditional Sedes Sapientiae manner. The design faithfully reproduces the stylized drapery folds and formal solemnity of the original polychrome wooden sculpture. The denomination 10 CÈNTIMS appears in the lower field, with the legend MARE DE DÉU DE MERITXELL arcing along the upper border.
