Reverse description Central design featuring a prominent equilateral triangle, a Masonic-inspired Republican symbol, with the denomination 10 CENTs. inscribed within the interior. The words LIBERTE and EGALITE are engraved along the left and right sides of the triangle respectively, while FRATERNITE appears across the base within a rectangular panel flanked by two small five-pointed stars. An olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right frame the triangle, their stems tied together by a ribbon bow at the base. The date 1848 is positioned in the lower exergue beneath the wreath, all enclosed within a rope border.
