| Reverse description | Central round hole flanked by two tall vertical torches adorned with floral and foliate sprays extending horizontally to either side. The denomination 10 CMES appears prominently in the upper field above the hole, with the date 1910 inscribed in the lower exergue. The Republican motto LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE is distributed around the periphery, and the engraver's signature A.PATEY is present in the field. The overall design is characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic employed by Patey in his essai coinage. |
