Reverse description The denomination 10 and the abbreviation CMES (centimes) are prominently displayed in bold numerals to the right of a tall fasces, flanked on either side by oak and laurel branches forming a decorative wreath around the central hole. The date 1910 appears in the lower exergual area, with the engraver's signature A.PATEY positioned nearby. The overall design reflects Patey's characteristic Art Nouveau-influenced style as proposed for a holed coinage series that was ultimately not adopted for circulation.
