Reverse description Identical in design to the obverse, this double-reverse épreuve presents the standard Lindauer reverse type on both faces. The large numeral '10' occupies the left portion of the central field, flanking the round central hole, with the abbreviation 'C MES' to the right. A stylized olive branch decorates the lower field on either side of the hole, and the date '1939' appears in the lower section. The legend 'LIBERTÉ · ÉGALITÉ · FRATERNITÉ' curves across the upper portion of the field in two lines.
