Obverse description Left-facing bust of Benito Juárez occupies the central field, rendered in low relief in a plain, unadorned style characteristic of Mexican Revolutionary coinage. The circular legend reads ESTADO L. Y S. DE OAXACA around the periphery, with a small star serving as a separator. The date 1915 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the portrait. The overall design is austere and utilitarian, consistent with the provisional emergency issues of the Oaxacan Constitutional government.
