Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval shield featuring a llama, a mountain, and a rising sun, surrounded by radiating sun rays forming a glory. Flanking the shield are Bolivian flags, cannons, and fasces with battleaxes. A condor with outstretched wings perches atop the shield. The curved legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA arcs around the upper portion of the design, while nine five-pointed stars are arranged in a row along the lower periphery. The coin displays exceptional proof-like fields with vivid iridescent toning.
