| Obverse description | Printed in brown on white paper, the obverse carries the Portuguese Coat of Arms within a circular guilloche vignette at top centre, flanked by floral ornaments and surmounted by a ribbon banner bearing the issuer's name. To the lower left, the denomination numeral '10' is set within a large ornate rosette medallion over the word 'CENTAVOS', while the series designation and the facsimile signature of the President of the Executive Committee appear to the right. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative border of repeating fan and scroll motifs, with the initials 'C.M.M.' at each corner. |
