| Obverse description | Olive-brown letterpress print on white paper, with an ornate foliate and geometric border framing the entire note. The Portuguese Coat of Arms is set within a central circular guilloche rosette, flanked left and right by two further scalloped roundels bearing the numeral '10' and the abbreviation 'cent.os' respectively. The issuer's name arches across the upper field in bold serif lettering, with the authorizing deliberation date inscribed immediately below. The series designation and a manuscript serial number appear in the lower centre, with two handwritten signatures and their printed role titles occupying the lower left and lower right. |
