Additional information

No Aztec political entity has issued currency at any point in recorded monetary history. The Aztec Empire collapsed in 1521 with the fall of Tenochtitlan, centuries before modern coinage systems existed. This piece is almost certainly a Mexican issue — Mexico has produced bimetallic 10 Centavos coins — but the metadata as submitted contains a fundamental cataloging error that must be corrected before this entry can be completed accurately.
