Obverse description Printed in deep carmine-red on cream paper, the obverse carries the circular seal of the Central Bank of the Philippines at left, enclosing an allegorical vignette, with a large guilloche numeral '10' at centre and the denomination 'TEN CENTAVOS' on a ribbon cartouche below. Corner panels repeat the numeral '10' within ornamental frames, while two manuscript signatures along the lower margin are accompanied by the printed titles 'President of the Philippines' and 'Governor of the Central Bank'. The note's legal tender status is affirmed by inscriptions running across the upper and lower borders.
