Obverse description Mexican national coat of arms depicting a Mexican eagle perched on a cactus, devouring a serpent, set against a rocky outcrop with clouds in the lower field. The silver fineness mark '0.720' appears divided across the eagle's body, flanked by the digits to either side. The circular legend 'ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS' arcs around the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
